Da Vinci Code vs. Angels & Demons
In this post I am going to be talking about the movies/ books the Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. Here I will tell you which movie I thought was better and which book I thought was better.
First I will talk about the books. I liked both books very, very much. I re-read them constantly and always love it due to learning something new each time. Angels & Demons is probably the best thriller I have yet to read. I love the action and the supense as well as it being Robert Langdon's first time. I remember reading it for the first time and actually saying wow at every new twist. (Not to brag, I pride myself into guessing what is going to happen next, and usually getting it right) Where as in the Da Vinci Code, I loved it for it's historical references. Yes, I do know this is fiction and not entirely true but like I said, I loved it. The book was so enriched with history, tying almost every part of the globe together. From early christianity to pagan worship to modern day. It was beautifully woven together to make a most interesting story. As you have probably noticed, I love history. Between the two books, I would probably have to choose.... Angels & Demons.
I chose Angels & Demons because the book always wows me, as well as it also has some history mixed in. To me this is more plausible than the Da Vinci Code.
Now, onto the movies. Hands down I would have to say the Da Vinci Code. To me, Angels & Demons did an ok job but the ending threw me off. It was like all "And Happily Ever After" It seemed totally happy-go-lucky and fluffy. I don't know, it just seemed that all the action and suspense that was going ended as soon as the threat was removed. (I don't wish to spoil the ending so I promise I won't say anything)
What do you think about the books and the movies?
and please, if you are ultra-religious and hate these books/movies, please don't yell and scream at me and say "you will burn in hell for reading/watching" because it is all purely FICTIONAL!!!! It is there just to entertain us....

Vampires vs. Werewolves
Hello im crzychigurl, and this is my first blog. What I am moslty going to blog about is a certain topic vs. another similar topic. Because then I could state both views, as well as see what others think about it.
As most of the world knows, the next Twilight movie, New Moon, is coming out this next year (11.20.09) Now this book/movie sparks a bunch of controversy over who is better Edward or Jacob. But to me, this is more of a Vampire vs. Werewolf situation. (And yes, I do know that technically Jacob is a shapeshifter) Personally, if I had to choose, I would pick the werewolf. I say this because werewolves are cute and cuddley to me. They are potty trained (unlike vampires who cannot secret any bodily fluid) and they are warm. Who would want to hug a cold, and hard person? I wouldn't.... I would want to hug something/ someone who is warm and soft, and not afraid of crushing me.... In my opinion the only thing a vampire has going for them is eternal youth (depending on the age when they changed) and being hard for those sexual moments, as well experience from living so long (again depending on the age)...
Now this is not a smear campiagn against Edward (even though I am team Jacob, Taylor Laughtner is way gorgeous!) I am just saying I don't get the gist of wanting to be with a cold, and always hungry (I forgot to mention this earlier) vampire, when you can be with a cute and cuddley werewolf.
