Da Vinci Code vs. Angels & Demons

In this post I am going to be talking about the movies/ books the Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. Here I will tell you which movie I thought was better and which book I thought was better.

First I will talk about the books. I liked both books very, very much. I re-read them constantly and always love it due to learning something new each time. Angels & Demons is probably the best thriller I have yet to read. I love the action and the supense as well as it being Robert Langdon's first time. I remember reading it for the first time and actually saying wow at every new twist. (Not to brag, I pride myself into guessing what is going to happen next, and usually getting it right) Where as in the Da Vinci Code, I loved it for it's historical references. Yes, I do know this is fiction and not entirely true but like I said, I loved it. The book was so enriched with history, tying almost every part of the globe together. From early christianity to pagan worship to modern day. It was beautifully woven together to make a most interesting story. As you have probably noticed, I love history. Between the two books, I would probably have to choose.... Angels & Demons.

I chose Angels & Demons because the book always wows me, as well as it also has some history mixed in. To me this is more plausible than the Da Vinci Code.

Now, onto the movies. Hands down I would have to say the Da Vinci Code. To me, Angels & Demons did an ok job but the ending threw me off. It was like all "And Happily Ever After" It seemed totally happy-go-lucky and fluffy. I don't know, it just seemed that all the action and suspense that was going ended as soon as the threat was removed. (I don't wish to spoil the ending so I promise I won't say anything)

What do you think about the books and the movies?
and please, if you are ultra-religious and hate these books/movies, please don't yell and scream at me and say "you will burn in hell for reading/watching" because it is all purely FICTIONAL!!!! It is there just to entertain us....
